This Privacy Policy explains what information Allyup (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Allyup mobile app and related services (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a basic profile, such as your name and email, depending on what you choose to share, to create your account.
- Content you create. The photos, videos, habit check-ins, reactions, and group activity you add to the Service.
- Group data. The groups you create or join and your membership in them.
- Device and usage data. App analytics, performance, and crash diagnostics, plus a push-notification token if you enable notifications.
How we use information
- To operate the Service, including showing your habit streaks and your groups’ activity;
- To deliver notifications you opt into, such as reactions, reminders, and group updates;
- To maintain reliability and improve the app through aggregate analytics and crash reporting;
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run Allyup. These providers process data to provide their services to us:
- Convex: backend database and application logic;
- Cloudinary: storage and delivery of the photos and videos you upload;
- Google Firebase: analytics, performance monitoring, crash reporting, and push notifications;
- Apple and Google: sign-in.
Sharing
Content you post is visible to members of the groups you share it with. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Account deletion removes your Allyup account and associated application records, queues your uploaded Cloudinary photos and videos for permanent deletion and CDN-cache invalidation, and attempts to revoke your Sign in with Apple authorization when applicable. Limited copies may remain temporarily in service-provider backups, security logs, or where retention is required by law.
Your choices
- You can manage or revoke notification permissions in your device settings;
- You can delete content you have posted;
- You can delete your account, which removes your associated data as described above.
Children
Allyup is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
